BCS Cannulated
femoral neck screw
Characteristics
● Hexagonal head, ball slice shaped collar ● Cannulated body for accepting leading skewer ● Self-tapping screw
The self-tapping screw thread of the femoral neck screw ensures a precise, seamless fixation and besides this, reduces the surgical time by eliminating the preliminary thread cutting operation. A threaded bore can be found in the hexagonal screw head. This enables the stable fixation of the hexagonal key driver aperture to the femoral neck screw.
A self-tapping, threaded skewer fits to the body of the threaded cannulated screw. The self-cutting and self-tapping shape of the skewer significantly reduces the risk of skewer slipping which is implanted to the femoral neck.
