BIONIKA MILLING CENTRE

Where bionic dental prosthetics come first

If you do not have the time to produce time-consuming prosthetic frameworks, or if you lack the necessary technology, choose the BIONIKA Milling Centre — receive high-quality restorations directly and use your remaining time to focus on perfect aesthetics.

Approximately 20% of the world's population is completely edentulous, and even more people have missing teeth. As a result, the demand for dental prosthetics is continuously growing, and we want to restore our patients' teeth faster and more effectively. If you want your dental practice and dental laboratory to keep pace with this increased demand, it is essential to modernise your dental services. The use of state-of-the-art, top-of-the-range equipment is indispensable for producing high-quality, precise prosthetic restorations. Perfect micron-level accuracy can only be achieved by keeping pace with today's CAD/CAM technology.

Own machinery or outsourced milling?

Dental laboratories face a choice. One option is to continuously invest larger sums in new machinery and training courses. However, a poorly chosen system can place a significant financial burden on the laboratory — especially if the wrong choice is made and the expected quality is not delivered. The other option is to take advantage of various cooperation opportunities. This article was written to inform you about how the new, technologically advanced BIONIKA Milling Centre can help you. We are fortunate to have our own fleet of machines. This major competitive advantage can also be yours — simply contact us with your tasks that require modern technology.

Why choose the BIONIKA Milling Centre?

The adoption of digital dental systems is unfortunately hindered by a number of factors, such as the cost of technological transition, which can place a heavy burden on the budgets of dental laboratories. Many therefore remain with casting techniques; however, CAD/CAM equipment and modern technology enable the production of far more accurate and precise dental restorations.

At BIONIKA, we want to support these dental technicians, which is why we have established our milling centre equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, founded on nearly 30 years of experience in dentistry and implant manufacturing. We possess the most advanced technology, enabling the production of high-quality crowns, bridges, and bars. In addition to our professional machinery, our specialists contribute their best expertise to ensure successful prosthetic outcomes.

5+1 reasons to choose the BIONIKA Milling Centre

1. Even when your workload is high, you will not lose patients. BIONIKA takes over the time-consuming production of prosthetic frameworks with short turnaround times, giving you more time to focus on your patients.
2. By choosing the BIONIKA Milling Centre, you do not need to invest in expensive equipment and instruments — we already have the most advanced technologies, highly trained specialists, and the appropriate tools, all at your service.

3. We guarantee outstanding quality. Precise fit is one of the most important factors when producing a long-lasting dental prosthesis. Poorly fitting frameworks do more harm than good — they can damage implants, instruments, and, most importantly, patients. This cannot happen with BIONIKA, as our advanced scanning technology enables us to produce perfectly fitting bridges, single-unit restorations, and frameworks.
4. We stand by you even in the most challenging situations.
No case is unsolvable for us — drawing on our professional expertise, we always find the right solution. Completed prosthetic restorations are guaranteed to be delivered to you in the shortest possible time, as our partners have already come to expect.
5. Budget-friendly solutions. No need to experiment. We manufacture precisely fitting frameworks for every implant type at the best possible value for money.
5+1 In BIONIKA's product range you will also find the implant superstructures required for a perfect restoration. Choose from more than 50 proven geometries, for cemented, screw-retained, and removable prosthetic restorations alike.

There are also solutions born solely in your imagination. We bring your ideas to life in order to achieve the best possible outcome for your patient.

How our service works

1. If you have an intraoral scanner or a scanner capable of scanning plaster models, simply send us the STL file by e-mail!
+1 A scanner is not required — we can produce STL files from plaster models ourselves using our dental 3D scanner. In this case, simply send us your standard plaster model. Note: for every implant system we have our own manufactured scanbody heads and accurate models.

2. Once the model arrives, our dental technicians design and refine the prosthetic framework using CAD software, and the development of the restoration begins.

3. Based on the design, we mill the prosthetic framework using our state-of-the-art machines and CAM software. The framework can be produced in the following materials as required: titanium, zirconia, Co-Cr alloy, wax, or resin. The framework is guaranteed to fit, so you receive it ready for use.

Efficient workflow.

4. The completed prosthetic framework is delivered to your specified address as quickly as possible, together with all accessories. You will be notified of the shipment's arrival by e-mail.

Quality materials at BIONIKA

High-quality materials combined with professional expertise enable the fast and perfect production of ordered dental prostheses. We consider it essential that our products are made exclusively from quality materials; therefore, we use only reliable materials whose quality and compliance are certified by the manufacturer's mill certificate and which conform to the ISO 5832 international standard.

Titanium

Titanium alloys offer high strength and low density, finding applications ranging from aerospace manufacturing to prosthetics production. This versatile material has excellent biocompatibility and causes no allergic reactions in patients. We consider it essential that our bio-titanium products are of the highest quality. The desired prosthetic restoration is machined using 5-axis CNC machines; we use Grade 4 and Grade 5 titanium, from which a lifelong dental prosthesis can be produced.

Example of a bridge made from zirconia.

Zirconia
Zirconium oxide is becoming increasingly widespread in modern dentistry. This material is easy to machine and offers a high aesthetic appearance. It is the best solution for metal-free prosthetic restorations. It causes no allergic reactions in patients. Thanks to its high strength, full-arch bridges can also be fabricated from it. It advantageously eliminates the unpleasant and harmful galvanic effects associated with metals.

Example of a Co-Cr prosthesis.

Co-Cr alloy
Cobalt-chromium alloy, like titanium, is a high-strength material from which excellent prosthetic restorations for implants can be produced. Like other materials, cobalt-chromium is also biocompatible and therefore safe to use; however, for patients with metal allergies, an allergy test is advisable. A major advantage is its low production cost, making it budget-friendly; it is resistant to corrosion and enables the production of excellent prosthetic restorations. Co-Cr crowns and bridges are produced from a single block using a 5-axis CNC machine. Cobalt-chromium alloy is very difficult to machine, but because the framework is milled from a single piece, the result is a stronger, more solid structure — achieving a more precise fit than with traditional casting techniques.

Modelling wax and resin
CAD/CAM technology is also suitable for producing computer-designed dental prosthesis geometries from casting wax or from resin for use as temporary prostheses.
