BIONIKA

The Key to Successful Simultaneous Bone Augmentation and Implantation

BIONIKA Medline Orvostechnikai Kft. continuously monitors changes in market trends, enabling it to respond promptly to emerging professional needs. During our innovation and development processes, we take into account the expectations of implantologists and dentists, thereby guaranteeing the ongoing world-class quality and practical usability of our products. Since our founding in 1989, we have developed nearly 25,000 different products, all aimed at restoring patients' happiness by supporting and facilitating the daily work of dental professionals.

Although BIONIKA's core focus is the manufacture of dental implants and abutments, our product range also covers the fields of oral surgery, traumatology, and orthopaedics. Our broad product portfolio has been developed together with physicians and engineers, drawing on clinical and technological expertise.

Thanks to our experienced specialists, we take on even the most challenging cases. With over three decades of expertise and access to the right information, we are able to identify implants in question and even take care of designing and manufacturing the required abutment. We always strive for the best solution — you can count on us whether your patient presents with an unknown implant or you wish to realise an idea for a custom development.

Over the past 33 years, we have successfully realised numerous product development ideas proposed by our partners. Among others, the BIONIKA 3D Builder titanium meshes — designed to retain bone graft material in place — were born out of such collaborative development. The meshes, co-developed with implantologist Dr. Áron Becsky, were designed in 4 different geometric shapes, making them a perfect fit for the most common types of bone defects and surgical techniques.

Suitable for retaining bone graft material on top of and on one side of the implant at the implanted bone site.

Suitable for supporting bone augmentation on a wider alveolar ridge and on its lateral section.

Used to retain bone graft material placed on the alveolar ridge and on both lateral jaw sections.

Recommended for securing bone graft material on one lateral jaw section and on a narrow ridge (between two teeth).

The pre-embossed surfaces and rounded edges cause no irritation, reduce the risk of flap perforation, and increase the success rate of the procedure while minimising the risk of rejection. The strong yet flexible titanium sheets adapt to the patient's anatomy on one hand, and on the other hand facilitate the clinician's work, as they can be easily shaped with scissors and geometric pliers alike. The BIONIKA 3D Builders retain their shape without spring-back, thereby preventing deformation caused by external stress. There is no need to purchase new instruments or accessories, as the titanium meshes can be placed simultaneously with the implant and are easily secured with the implant's cover screw.

Every implant in the BIONIKA range contributes to successful dental implantation. Excellent biocompatibility, high purity, premium quality, and a favourable price-to-performance ratio are just a few of the characteristics that define the implants developed and manufactured by BIONIKA. Our extensive product selection includes mini, one-piece, and two-piece implants alike, and we also offer a product family that combines all of these. The CORTILOG product family developed by BIONIKA has gained popularity among professionals primarily due to its versatility and comprehensive nature. The CORTILOG system is a complex, domestically manufactured product family whose members include mini, one-piece, two-piece, and temporary implants, so everyone can find the right solution within a single system. The members of the CORTILOG implant family are compatible with Camlog® instruments and abutments, making it an excellent choice for those who work with this type of system.

The CORTILOG PCL system includes implants in five different diameters (∅3.3 ∅3.8 ∅4.3 ∅5.0 ∅6.0), suitable for use with average, below-average, and above-average bone volume alike.

The CORTILOG PCL features a flat platform with a tube-in-tube connection, with anti-rotation provided by three cams. The retention rate of the implant is significantly improved when the coronal margin is placed at or below the cortical level. For cases with low bone height, the CORTILOG PCL SHORT variant can provide a solution without bone augmentation, and is available in insertion lengths of 6 and 7 mm.

The CORTILOG CCL implant, through its conical connection, delivers micro-motion-free force transfer and provides particularly favourable conditions for accurate impression-taking. The CORTILOG CCL implant, available in five different diameters, comes in five lengths, making it equally successful in all bone structures.

The CORTILOG ECL implant shares its design with the CCL type; however, the non-sandblasted, polished section of the implant can also be readily placed in soft tissue, making it suitable for patients with lower bone availability. The use of this implant simplifies the surgical procedure, as there is no need to expose deeply placed implants.

The CORTILOG TCL temporary implant provides an immediate solution for fabricating interim prostheses while the healing period of the final two-piece implant takes place. The non-sandblasted surface delays full osseointegration, allowing the temporary implants to be removed easily and safely prior to the placement of the final prosthesis.

The CORTILOG DCL implant system includes implants in three different diameters (∅3.8 ∅3.3 ∅4.3). The implant body and abutment head form a single geometry and can be used as a one-piece implant. DCL Multi-Unit head implants are ideal for screw-retained prostheses, while DCL straight-head implants are best suited for cement-retained prostheses.

Has a patient ever come to your practice with insufficient bone volume requiring a specialised implant? BIONIKA developed the CORTILOG MCL implant precisely for such cases, enabling patients with limited bone availability to fully restore their chewing function to 100%. The procedure can be performed in a single phase, and the implant can be loaded immediately if required.

Nowadays, numerous implant systems can be found on the market. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. This often makes it difficult to decide which one to invest in, as introducing a new system carries significant financial implications. We aim to help with this challenge through our "COMPATIBLE" abutments. The COMPATIBLE abutments have been designed to fit perfectly with other systems and instruments alike. Our partners can choose from abutments in various sizes and widths, with the connection interface selectable according to the desired system. We even have personalised solutions for every case! We manufacture abutments compatible with more than 100 foreign and Hungarian implant systems. Our range includes more than 50 different abutments in various sizes, widths, and geometries, suitable for cemented, screw-retained, and removable prostheses alike.

Whether you are looking for one-piece or two-piece dental implant systems, abutments, prosthetic components, dental implantation instruments, membranes and titanium meshes, or CAD/CAM-fabricated prostheses, you will certainly find the most favourable solutions among BIONIKA's products!
