Titanium Membrane and unique solution
In our two previous letters, we explained why compatible products are special and complement the shortcomings of implant manufacturers, and now you can learn about the advantages of one- and two-phase implants.
In this letter, we present one of BIONIKA' latest and innovative patents, which we developed together with Dr. Áron Becsky, a specialist in dental and oral diseases.
In this letter, we present one of BIONIKA' latest and innovative patents, which we developed together with Dr. Áron Becsky, a specialist in dental and oral diseases. The 3D Builder titanium Membrane has been a huge success throughout Europe and has ushered in a new era of bone grafting.
Bone grafting in the most professional way
Did you know that titanium membranes have been used for a relatively long time in bone grafting? Several studies have been conducted on their effectiveness, and sources have confirmed that the success rate ranges from 95.1% to 99%. The thickness of the bones also increased spectacularly both vertically and horizontally.
These numbers sound very good; however, it is necessary to look behind the numbers: The disadvantage of 2D titanium membranes arises from its recording and use. It requires heavy rivets driving which effects the patient's head, as well as further discomfort during the excavation.
BIONIKA's patented 3D Builder titanium mesh, on the other hand, is available in a pre-embossed form and can be used to overfill the augmentation, thus reducing healing time. Thick bone can be achieved after as little as 3-4 months, depending on the alloplastic material used.

Types of 3D Builder Titanium membrane:
Type A titanium Membrane
Suitable for retaining bone graft material between the top and one side of the implant.
Type B titanium Membrane
It can be used to support bone grafting on the wider jawbone ridge and the lateral section.
Type C titanium Membrane
It is used to hold bone substitute material inserted in the jawbone ridge and both sides of the jawbone.
Type D titanium Membrane
One side of the jawbone recommended for fixation of bone graft material on a narrow ridge (between two).
